On April 4, IONWAY joined the MOVE – International Mobility Congress in Poznań, Poland as a platinum sponsor. During the inauguration ceremony, IONWAY was recognized for its investment in Poland as one of the biggest Cathode active materials (CAM) factories in Europe. We were in very good company with among the other award winners companies from the Volkswagen Group.
At the event, our CEO, Thomas Jansseune joined a panel on the “Industrial investment in the automotive sector” with Jacek Tomczak, Poland’s Secretary of State Ministry of Economic Development and Technology, Stefanie Hegels, CEO Volkswagen Poznań, Michael Kobriger, Executive Board Member Production & Logistics, MAN Truck & Bus AG and Michał Dżoga, Country Manager of Intel Poland.
We were grateful to be part of this event and to speak about the heart of electromobility (e-mobility) which lies in the development of advanced battery technologies. At IONWAY, we’re proud to be at the forefront of this electrifying revolution.
Our investment in Nysa will allow us to produce the essential cathode materials that power the next generation of electric vehicle (EV) batteries. These materials drive performance, optimize costs, and reduce the environmental footprint.
